What is Aerial Fitness?

The short answer is strength and balance exercise using the circus apparatus of aerial fabric.  No worries, this isn’t cirque du Soleil.  We start low and controlled, and your first exercises will be as easy as sitting in a swing.  You will be close to the ground with no spinning or hanging upside down unless you want to.  A super strong core and upper body are not required, but instead, the goal.  Aerial fitness is your chance to play your way to the strong, happy, and confident woman you want to be.

Regardless of your current capabilities, you can find success with aerial fitness.  I will create an individualized plan to help you achieve your goals, whether you are looking for a fun and unique way to exercise, needing motivation to recover from a life event, or looking to take your aerial practice to the next level.

I founded Whirlybird Aerial Fitness to make aerial fitness accessible to other women in the middle part of their life.  I believe play doesn’t need to be solely for the young. My passion is to help you connect with your body, focus your mind, and lift your spirits by sharing the joy of aerial fitness.
